Weekend Recap: Harvest Fun, Real Estate Wins & Fall Vibes in Southern Oregon 🍂

What a great weekend! Fall is in full swing here in Southern Oregon, and we soaked up every bit of it this weekend with the family.

We kicked things off at the Talent Harvest Festival, one of our favorite local fall events. The kids had a blast exploring the booths, and we scored some hot honey from a local vendor, hands down our favorite find lately. Sweet with a little kick, it’s perfect on biscuits, drizzled over roasted veggies, or our favorite on top of “cheese snack”.

Next stop: Fort Vannoy Farms. It’s become our annual tradition to play our family’s favorite pumpkin patch game, “if you can carry it, you can have it.” Let’s just say my wallet wasn’t quite as amused as the kids were! 🎃 The laughs were worth it though. Gordon surprised everyone with his hidden sharpshooter skills at pumpkin chunkin, hitting the target every single time.

On the sports front, we spent most of Saturday rooting on Oliver. He scored two goals in his soccer game with Rogue River, which has a greater youth soccer program in Southern Oregon. He also had basketball tryouts for the Junior Comets, we’re so proud of how hard he’s working and how much he’s growing as an athlete. Central Point truly offers incredible youth sports programs, and it’s such a privilege to have our kids in this school district where they’re supported both on and off the field.

On the real estate front, it was an exciting weekend too! We placed an offer on a Central Point investment property, and it’s looking promising! I’ll admit, I wasn’t super confident since our offer came in lower than asking, but it’s shaping up to be a potential win. We should know more in the next few days.

I also have some new listings coming soon and fresh buyer clients interested in the Medford area, fall is definitely heating up for Southern Oregon real estate.

Fitness wise, I squeezed in a couple great session at Crunch Fitness, and I’m counting down the days until West Coast Strength officially opens. Always love mixing things up and keeping my workouts fresh!

Let’s not forget the markets, the stock market treated us kindly last week, so I’m optimistic about what this one will bring.

All in all, a full weekend of family fun, fitness, and financial progress, my favorite combo.
